That is what one former heroin addict had to say about the drug rehabilitation program that you sponsored. Along with traditional detox and counseling, the program offers goal-setting seminars, nutritious meal plans, and workout classes to help attendants begin caring for their health again.
“This project really impacted my life over the last year. I’ve actually become the person I am today because of it.”
The resources you provided ultimately helped nearly 150 former addicts across five different communities, two of which BGR has not had the chance to work in until now! The partners involved were able to share the love of Christ with participants in a way that not only cared for their immediate physical needs, but also helped them experience a supportive community.
Sometimes all a person needs to make positive changes is to know that they will be loved and cared for unconditionally.
