UPDATE: Tropical Cyclone Kenneth

Disaster Response | Print

Tropical Cyclone Kenneth has left a wide path of destruction since making landfall on April 25th in a 75 mile stretch of land in Northern Mozambique. From the port districts of Macomia to Mocimboa da Praia, nearly 35,000 houses have been damaged or destroyed, many of which had previously been damaged in a storm cycle earlier in the year. BGR teams are on the ground and responding to needs of basic necessities, such as food, water, and shelter. We will continue to update the situation as we know more. In the meantime, join us in praying for the thousands of lives that have been turned upside-down in this storm. And pray for the responders and relief workers doing their best to provide care and hope.
