Sometimes, a mother just needs a kind soul to hold her baby

Refugees and IDPs | Print

The train stopped, finally. Abella relaxed. She was so tired and so heartbroken. This was just one piece of her journey away from the home she fled in Syria. She held her infant close as she exited the train. Near the tracks, a group of people had set up an aid station that your donations stocked with food and water. One volunteer even offered to hold Abella’s baby so the mother could briefly rest. Because you gave, Abella could experience that one moment of peace. Join with us again as we give other refugees relief, as well.
