If violence forced you from your home, would you lose the will to help others? Lera didn’t. She and her family fled war and settled in a camp for the internally displaced. She felt compassion for sick and hungry people around her, so she told BGR about them. This woman, who had lost almost everything, spent her time getting to know her neighbors in the camp and identifying who needed food and medicine the most. She partnered with you and made sure your donations went to the right places. Donate again and continue supporting people like Lera—people who look beyond their own circumstances to help the less fortunate.
