Project takes 12 children off Nairobi streets

A dozen boys in Nairobi, Kenya, came off the street through a BGR initiative. A BGR partner requested funds to provide homeless youths with emergency medical training, food programs, job training and housing in an effort to build relationships with them. Several of those assisted launched small businesses, and 10 children began attending school. The project also set a goal to encourage local churches to educate and empower the youth, and because of this, a local Baptist church began housing four of the children, with little outside help. Please pray for the roughly 70,000 children homeless on the streets of Nairobi.
