Improving agriculture in Southeast Asia

BGR partners are establishing a local development organization in Southeast Asia and helping residents improve their agricultural efforts.

“A desire from the beginning of its formation has been for it to be self-sustaining and a blessing for the people of the island for years and years to come,” a partner says.

The area’s villages are mostly rural, and people typically make their living from farming, fishing or raising livestock. This organization aims to help locals develop the tools and skills needed to better provide for their families. It helps some raise goats, trains others to better cultivate crops, and teaches some to train dogs to keep pigs away from their gardens. The partner says the project is moving toward financial independence.

Pray that through this project, partners will be granted access to many villages so every person in them can hear Truth.
