Kids like Selloane’s grandchildren are hungry, so let’s get to work! This grandmother worried about how to feed all eight of them when local crops had just bounced back from a two-year drought. Everyone in the community struggled for food. Selloane borrowed from neighbors to fill bellies in her family, and she helped in a friend’s garden and kept a portion of the vegetables. But, it wasn’t enough. At night, Selloane and her husband huddled with the children on a dirt rug in the middle of their hut, whether or not they had eaten supper. You can be the one who fills empty bowls in huts like Selloane’s. This Global Hunger Sunday, donate a $50 food packet and bless a hungry family like hers.
