Ka ran.

The elliptical machine operated at a quick pace, letting her pump her legs while sweat trickled down her face. She needed this. She needed the exercise to deal with turmoil wrought by the brothel where she was held.

At an aftercare home you help fund, staff members encouraged her to control her tantrums and fainting spells through exercise. They taught her to find healthy outlets for her stress and rage and to move forward.

Pray other young women like Ka can learn to deal with the hurt, the bitterness and the memories that come from human trafficking.
