BGR Open Position: Office Administrative Assistant & Receptionist

Basic Job Title: Office Administrative Assistant & Receptionist
Location: Nashville, TN
Reports to: Office Director
Type: Full Time, Hourly (37.5 hours per week)

Summary: A servant…willing to serve Baptist Global Response (BGR) constituents by providing excellent customer service, meeting their needs when contacting the office.  Willing to serve the office staff by answering the phone and facilitating administrative duties for the office.  

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
First Contact

  • Present a professional, positive, and helpful presence to guests and anyone making inquiry
  • Answer phone calls to the main BGR line (primary person for this)
  • Answer inquiries from website and call center
  • Provide hospitality to visitors and guests 

Office Management

  • Prepare and ship all orders for materials and displays
  • Prepare and mail all postal correspondence (letters, packages, etc)
  • Collect and distribute incoming mail
  • Maintain office supply inventory
  • Assist all other office staff in administrative tasks

Database Management

  • Ensure contacts and other data are up-to-date in Salesforce CRM based on communications with constituents

Assist with other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:  

  • One or more years of work experience
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Strong writing and editing skills; clear & succinct writing, especially via email
  • Strong phone skills
  • Intermediate MS Word
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM helpful
